In the industrial process, valves are mostly used to control the motion and flow of various fluids, such as water, oil, and chemical liquids, etc. The parameters for reference include temperature, pressure and temperature. The control valves commonly used in the factories are the reducing valves, pneumatic ball valves, electric ball valves, fixed temperature system of solenoid valve, fixed temperature system of air-operated diaphragm valve, and temperature control valves and other types. On selection of various automatic valves, consideration should be given to the types and required accuracy of heat machines; the quality, pressure drop, flow, construction and failure rate of control valves; the manufacturers’ credit and after-sale service and other factors to achieve the goal of economical practicality.
For operational efficiency, energy conservation and consumption, it is indispensable to make use of automatic control valves. The hand-operated valves commonly used in the traditional industry are inferior to the electric valves and air-operated valves in the installation cost and efficiency. As said in some media, the electric valves will become the main products in the valve market.
The electric valves and air-operated valves are themselves characteristic of easy assembly, low failure rate and agreement to the demand of the industry for automation, which can reduce other costs and expenditures so as to make the electromechanical valve enterprises more competitive and vital.
